Thinking about releasing equity from your home and would like some advice?
I can refer you to a qualified specialist adviser within the Quilter Financial Planning Network who will in turn work with dedicated equity release companies to provide specialist financial advice to help you enjoy retirement to the full. Working with carefully chosen partners we can help answer any questions you may have on the subject.
They will talk to you about your circumstances and assess whether equity release is the right option for you. If it isn't, they will clearly state the reasons why not. If it is, they will give you comprehensive advice on an appropriate equity release scheme that meets your needs and circumstances.
Equity Release Council
If you are thinking of equity release, then dealing with an organisation that is a member of Equity Release Council is a smart move. Members of the Equity Release Council have to comply with a code of practice designed to protect customers.
To comply with the code, companies must provide clear information on all aspects of the plan including your rights and obligations. It also states that you must have received independent legal advice before taking out a plan.
Equity Release is a lifetime mortgage or home reversion scheme. To understand the features and risks, ask for a personalised illustration. Equity Release, Lifetime Mortgages and Home Reversion Plans will reduce the value of your estate and can affect your eligibility for means tested benefits.
